Historic charm and character, picturesque hotel grounds, quality toiletries
Room decor could use a coherent theme!!! Dated furnishings in the bar area need freshening up!!! Limited parking during events could be a hassle!!! Wi-Fi connectivity issues disrupted my stay!!!

Perfect for a Relaxing Getaway
We stayed for a night and the food was exceptional. The staff arranged a surprise cream tea for us when we arrived, and the view from the terrace was just stunning.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but for what we got, it felt justified.

Great stay with friends! We had a blast exploring the beautiful grounds and enjoyed archery and a fantastic dinner. The spacious common areas and cozy ambiance made it perfect for relaxing. It's a great spot for pampering or enjoying time with loved ones.
The only downside was that our room's heating wouldn’t turn off, which got a bit uncomfortable during the night.

Charming stay with lovely views
We had a sweet time at our lodge, the views were simply stunning! The spa bath was a nice touch, but keep in mind it's not super private. The bed was super comfy, and breakfast was tasty, but the time window was a bit tight for a Sunday. Loved the piano room too!

Charming historic building with picturesque grounds that felt intimate and romantic. The antique furniture added character, enhancing the overall atmosphere. The staff were notably friendly, especially at the bar. Enjoyed the comfortable bed and the inviting spa bath. it was a bit crowded during the weekdays due to wedding events, which took away from the overall quiet ambiance I sought.
